I have been bad at posting photos the last few months, so here are a few. In January, one of my best friends got married and Sara attended as my date! Then my mom and I went to Colorado to visit our sweet friends Jamie and Charlie and to celebrate JaeLynn's 3rd birthday! I also got to meet up with my high school friend, Tia, and her new baby in Denver! And lastly, my nephew, Houghton, turned 2 in February!

modern barn continued...

Much to my delight, I came across my-someday-i'll-have-a-barn-home-dream-house in Architectural Digest! Here are a few photos I missed the other day.

Now that I've seen the exterior, I want this modern barn house even more than I did before.



Modern Barn

Believe it or not, I have had dreams of renovating a big old barn into a beautiful modern home! Look at what I found!

Not sure if I've shared this before, but I once lived over a barn. Yes, a real barn with horses living down below. The upstairs was a guest house and I lived there for nine months. While I was in Colorado last month, my mom and I stopped by to check out the now-for-sale-property. It was a little disheartening to see the place slowly deteriorating. Not what I once remember. But it was never the modern barn you just spotted above! Fabulous, isn't it?

I really needed to read this tonight. Light, Life, Joy, and Peace that  come from none other than my God. I receive it.

That's not all that equates happiness, sure. But it is a good start.
